Dear Seton Families,
Progress reports for grades 1st–8th will be sent home today in your child’s Friday Folder. Please sign and return your child’s progress report. If you have any concerns or questions, please email your child’s teacher.
There will be no school on Monday, October 8, 2018.
On Monday, October 8, Seton teachers and administration will be on a spiritual journey retreat at Camp Notre Dame. Teachers will spend Monday unplugged and getting reconnected to God through prayer. I am asking all Seton staff to unplug for the day. Due to the nature of the retreat, I am asking that no emails be answered Monday. All emails will be returned on Tuesday. Thank you for your support. Please say an extra prayer for our teachers Monday and for a successful, rejuvenating retreat.
Thank you to all the families who donated items for Nite at the Races. Mrs. Longo is still in need of donations! I am offering a dress down day for any student who donates an item for the event by October 10.
Nite at the Races will be held October 20, 2018. This is one of the two major fundraisers for the school. If you would like to sponsor a race, horse, or donate your time, please contact Jamie Longo. Tickets are now available in the office. Please mark your calendars to join us for a fun filled night.
Seton will continue to celebrate Fire Prevention Month next week with a visit from the Meadville Fire Department. Students in grades Pre-K through 3rd will hear a special presentation from local firefighters. Does your child know what to do if there is a fire in your house? Please use this opportunity to have a discussion with your child about fire safety and an emergency plan.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact your child’s teacher or the office.
God Bless and have a wonderful weekend,
