Dear Seton Families,
I hope you are all recovering well from a fun-filled night trick-or-treating! It was wonderful to see everyone come to school yesterday to watch our annual Halloween parade. If you were unable to join us yesterday, please check out our Facebook page for a few festive photos and a live stream of the parade.
Students will have a free dress down day on Wednesday, October 31, in honor of Halloween. Students are encouraged to wear Halloween colors. No costumes are permitted on October 31st. Please be mindful of dress code policy for dress down days. For more information, please reference page 17 of the student-parent handbook online.
There will be no school Mass on Wednesday, October 31.
Please join us for our All Saints’ Day Mass on Thursday, November 1, at 9:30 am. Students in 4th grade will continue the tradition to honor the lives of various saints. Students in the advanced band will also join the celebration and perform When the Saints Go Marching In. All students are to be in their Mass uniform.
With the “cold and flu” season just around the corner, I would like to remind you of the following Seton Catholic School Policy:
Children should be encouraged to wash their hands and cough or sneeze into their elbow. A child should stay home if they are experiencing flu-like symptoms such as vomiting or diarrhea, or if their temperature reaches 99 degrees or higher. No student should report to school with a fever or if they have been up all night with flu-like symptoms. If a child does experience a fever during the school day, you will be required to pick him or her up from school. Please plan ahead in case this situation occurs. Let’s all pray God continues to bless us and keep us healthy this fall and winter season.
Please continue to reference the school calendar for upcoming events. The next few months will be filled with countless activities and events.
