Dear Seton Families,
If you recall a few short months ago, I asked a favor of all Seton parents. It was to brag about the school. I promised, in this case, it was ok to brag. We have Fr. Jeff’s approval. When promoting the school, nothing is more effective than a positive review from a Seton parent. If you love Seton, tell the world! Talk about the wonderful opportunities your child has at Seton, the family atmosphere, the excellent teachers, or all the above! If you are proud to be a part of the Seton family, please spread the word. If you are not #SetonProud, let’s talk. I will do my best to change that.
Seton Student Council is collecting food items now through Monday, November 12th. As a school, our goal is to collect at least 1000 items. Collection boxes will be placed outside of each classroom. In the words of St. Mother Teresa, “If you can’t feed one hundred people, then just feed one.” Let’s all work together to change the world around us one person at a time.
The Seton Thanksgiving Play, Prayer Service, and Dinner will be held on November 19, 2018. Invitations and RSVP cards will be coming home in Friday Folders today. Please return the RSVP and payment to school by November 9. Due to limited space, this is an immediate family only event. A special thank you to PTO for planning and organizing this event.
There will be a two-hour late start on Wednesday, November 7. Doors will open at 9:30 for grades K-8. The school day will officially start at 10:00. Busing will be provided. Pre-school hours will not change.
We officially have the first quarter in the books! Expect report cards to be sent home on Friday, November 9.
Picture retakes and group photos will take place on November 9. Students who are getting their individual portrait picture retaken, are permitted to dress down.
Thanksgiving Break for students will begin on November 20. School will resume on November 27.
Please continue to reference the school calendar for upcoming events. The next few months will be filled with countless activities and events.
Don’t forget to turn back your clocks this Sunday and cast your vote on Tuesday!
