Dear Seton Families,
Ms. Gorman and the 8th-grade class did an amazing job honoring Mary at our May Crowning ceremony today. A special thank you to Ms. Gorman, the 8thgrade class, and everyone who assisted in organizing Seton’s beautiful tradition to honor Mary.
Monday, May 6th, will be the last day to turn in any outstanding March or April Reading Calendars. If you need another calendar, please contact Miss Kravec.
On Wednesday night, please join us for our Spring concert at 6:30. Kindergarten through 4th grade will be presenting their musical, The Cheese Stands Alone. Band, orchestra, and choir will also be performing a wonderful selection of music. If your child is performing with the band or orchestra, please have them here by 5:45. The Catholic Community of Meadville is hosting a bus trip June 13 to the Servants of Mary in Windsor, OH. This shrine to the Virgin Mary is the location of the world’s current largest statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe. The morning will be prayerful with the rosary, Mass with Fr. Jeff Lucas, and time for private prayer as well as time to explore the gift shop. After lunch at the shrine, we will continue on to Laurentia Winery for a tour, class and private tasting. Lunch and tasting are included in the price of the ticket. If you wish to order off the menu, you may do so on your own.
